In Held Light, the illuminated foreground creates an immediate point of entry before the composition moves towards the more subdued mountain forms beyond. The painting reflects on light as both a physical presence and a carrier of memory—revealing the route ahead while quietly retaining a sense of the journey already travelled.
The work was created through successive layers of acrylic on 250gsm fine art paper.
